Pubgolf Brighton turns a crawl into a game of nerve and counting. Every pub is a hole with one set drink and a par, and your strokes are the sips it takes to finish it. Fewer sips than par beats par, and the lowest overall total wins. Win a challenge or knowledge question for a power up; a dare like a no blink test can cost a penalty stroke. Nobody has to finish a drink; scoring is the target, not speed.
The route links Brighton's best haunts, from the indie bars of North Laine to the old pubs of The Lanes and buzzy Kemptown. It plays just as well over an afternoon as an evening, so gather whenever suits.
